Success stories as inspiration
Believe in yourself
Successful people have one thing in common: they radiate self-confidence, which helps them to overcome challenges and fulfill their expectations. But what exactly can you learn from them? It’s not just about how the people around them perceive them. It’s about how they perceive themselves, how they deal with setbacks and what principles they apply to achieve success. These lessons are not only inspiring, but also actionable.
In our coaching program, we also focus on the secrets of success of successful people and integrate them into your life. We show you how to strengthen your self-confidence through self-reflection and targeted exercises. Our coaching methods are designed to help you apply the principles of successful people to yourself. We work together to recognize your strengths, reduce self-doubt and have a positive impact on your self-worth.
Astrid brings proven techniques and her personal expertise to help you enjoy your everyday life happily and, above all, with high self-esteem. She offers you practical exercises and continuous feedback so that you know exactly how to build on your strengths and leave self-doubt behind. With Astrid by your side, you will not only receive professional support, but also personal guidance on your path to success.
How can I recognize that I have a lack of self-confidence?
A sign of a lack of self-confidence can be if you often feel bad about yourself, especially after interactions with others. You may constantly question your words and actions and feel that you are never ‘enough’. This feeling of inadequacy can lead you to compare your own body or character to that of others. You may only see their strengths and your weaknesses without realizing that each person is unique and valuable.
In addition, you may forget that to err is human and everyone makes mistakes. If you are constantly beating yourself up for mistakes and your self-esteem is heavily dependent on your performance, this could indicate a lack of self-confidence. It is important to understand that mistakes are part of the learning process and do not define your entire person.
Our own self-esteem is often influenced by our childhood. Negative experiences or constant criticism can shape our self-image and lead to low self-esteem.
However, it is possible to break these patterns and develop a healthy self-image. In our coaching sessions, we train you to do just that.
Another indicator can be if you are constantly worried about what others think of you and how you make them feel. A healthy self-esteem means that you see your worth regardless of what others think. Lastly, if you have difficulty accepting compliments on your character and instead deflect or downplay them, this could also indicate a lack of self-awareness. It is important that you recognize that you deserve to be praised and appreciated. In our coaching sessions, we help you to achieve exactly that.
What is the difference between self-worth, self-esteem, self-confidence and self-acceptance?
The terms are closely related, but concern different aspects of our self-image and perception:
- Self-worth refers to the intrinsic value and importance that we ascribe to ourselves. It is the fundamental feeling that we are valuable and important as a person. High self-worth means that we see ourselves as lovable and worthy of recognition, regardless of external successes or failures. Self-worth is often deeply rooted in our identity and is strongly influenced by our early childhood experiences and fundamental beliefs.
- Self-awareness is the ability to be aware of one’s own strengths, weaknesses, feelings and thoughts. It includes a realistic understanding and clear perception of your own identity and role in life. Good self-awareness means that you know yourself well and understand how you behave in different situations and how you are perceived by others.
- Self-confidence is trust in one’s own abilities and skills. It describes the belief in one’s own ability to successfully accomplish tasks and overcome challenges. Self-confidence manifests itself in the belief that one is capable of achieving goals and solving problems. It is dynamic and can vary depending on experience and situation.
- Self-acceptance means accepting yourself completely, including all your strengths and weaknesses, faults and shortcomings. It is about accepting yourself as you are, without having to constantly improve or change in order to confirm your own worth. Self-acceptance is a profound acceptance of one’s self that often goes hand in hand with inner peace and emotional stability.
These concepts are like a jigsaw puzzle that together create a healthy self-image and well-being. Each piece – self-worth, self-esteem, self-confidence and self-acceptance – influences the others and helps you feel good all round.
In our coaching sessions, we take the time to shed light on all these aspects and work on them together. We help you to recognize and strengthen your self-worth so that you feel valuable from the inside out. We use targeted exercises and reflections to further develop your self-confidence so that you get a clearer picture of yourself and understand how you behave in different situations.
We show you how to build and strengthen your self-confidence so that you remain calm and feel more secure when faced with challenges. And we work on promoting your self-acceptance so that you can accept yourself as you really are – with all your strengths and weaknesses.
Our coaching program is designed to balance these different aspects and support you in developing a strong and positive self-image. With our help, you will get the tools and support you need to understand yourself better and go through life with a healthy self-confidence. Let’s work together to make you feel completely comfortable and confident in your own skin!
How can I improve my low self-confidence?
Strong self-confidence doesn’t develop overnight – it’s a process that you have to continuously nurture and work on. Just like Astrid, who always pursued her goals and made targeted use of her talents and skills.
- Forget the constant comparison with others!
Each of us has our own unique strengths and talents. You are valuable simply because you are you. Focus on what you are really good at and celebrate your own successes. - Your posture can work wonders. An upright posture not only makes you look more confident, but also boosts your own sense of self-confidence. So, keep your shoulders back and your head up every now and then!
- Meditation can be a real game changer. It helps you to let go of negative thoughts and self-doubt and develop a better awareness of your own thoughts and feelings. This strengthens your self-confidence and makes you more relaxed.
- Learn to accept compliments. It is often difficult to acknowledge yourself, but if someone gives you a compliment, accept it and thank them for it. You deserve it!
- Look for opportunities to challenge yourself and try out new things. This not only takes you out of your comfort zone, but also helps you to get to know your strengths better and build up your self-confidence.
There are many ways to boost your self-confidence.
It takes time and patience, but with small steps you will quickly see progress. Let’s go down this path together in our coaching and experience the positive changes!
Why is strong self-confidence so helpful?
Strong self-confidence is like a turbo for your life – it makes everything easier and more successful. Here are some reasons why it’s so helpful:
- More composure in challenging situations: With strong self-confidence, you will feel more secure and less anxious when faced with challenges. Whether it’s an important presentation, a difficult conversation or a new task – your self-confidence helps you to remain calm and composed and increases your ability to act with confidence.
- Better decision-making: Confident people trust their own decisions and judgments.
This means that you can make clearer and faster decisions without being influenced by self-doubt or the opinions of others. This can help you to achieve your goals more efficiently and shape your life according to your ideas. - Greater personal and professional growth: Self-confidence encourages you to take on new challenges and develop yourself further.
You are more willing to learn new skills, take risks and learn from mistakes. This promotes personal growth and professional success. - Healthier relationships: When you are confident, you can communicate more clearly, express your needs and desires and resolve conflicts constructively. This leads to healthier, more respectful and more fulfilling relationships – whether in the family, with friends or at work.
- Higher self-esteem: Strong self-confidence often goes hand in hand with healthy self-esteem. You recognize your own worth and are less influenced by external opinions.
This leads to a positive view of yourself and more satisfaction in life. - More motivation and perseverance: Confident people are often more motivated and have more perseverance to achieve their goals.
Your belief in your abilities helps you to keep going and overcome obstacles, even when the going gets tough.
Strong self-confidence is like an inner drive that helps you to go through everyday life with confidence, pursue your goals and lead a fulfilled life. It is the basis for success and satisfaction in many areas of life.
How does low self-confidence affect your life?
Low self-confidence can affect many areas of your life and lead to significant challenges. It often causes you to feel insecure, avoid opportunities and struggle to communicate your needs clearly. This can be reflected in your quality of life by constantly comparing yourself to others, having doubts about your abilities and possibly even missing out on opportunities that could bring you joy and fulfillment.
But there is hope! With a targeted coaching approach, you can identify the causes of your low self-confidence and work on strengthening it in the long term. Our coaching program is designed to help you overcome these challenges and improve your quality of life.
We offer you individual support and tailor-made exercises to help you change your self-perception and boost your self-confidence. Through targeted reflection and practical techniques, you will learn to value yourself, recognize your strengths and reduce your insecurities. Our aim is to develop you into a self-confident person who goes through everyday life with more confidence and composure.
How can our coaching help you to become more self-confident?
Our coaching can help you boost your self-confidence and help you achieve your goals. The first step is to get to know yourself and your current challenges. Together, we will work out what you want to achieve and identify possible obstacles in your way. Whether you want more respect in your everyday life as a parent or you want to return to work with confidence after parental leave – we will set clear goals and develop an individual plan for you.
This process is divided into small, manageable steps. We already plan specific measures for the coming weeks and regularly review progress. After two weeks, we meet again to see what you have already achieved and to plan the next steps. Another session takes place three weeks later. On this occasion, we check your progress again and adjust the plan if necessary. This keeps the coaching manageable and financially predictable.
After these intensive individual sessions, we offer group meetings. These are less expensive and take place once a month. Here you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other mothers and fathers who are facing similar challenges. If you wish, you can of course also book further individual sessions. Our coaching will help you to boost your self-confidence and achieve your personal goals.
